Im mitteldeutschen Raum sind durch Industrie- und Gewerbeansiedlungen als auch durch Trockenheit, die Bedarfe an Wasser gestiegen. Der Arbeitskreis Wasserversorgungskonzept m\u00f6chte sich der Aufgabe stellen und gemeinsam mit den Stakeholdern, Empfehlungen f\u00fcr ein Wasserversorgungskonzept f\u00fcr den mitteldeutschen Raum beginnend in Sachsen-Anhalt ausarbeiten. Daf\u00fcr wird eine Bedarfs- und Bereitstellunganalyse und Handlungsempfehlungen f\u00fcr die Entwicklung der wasserwirtschaftlichen Infrastruktur in Richtung Politik und Wasserversorger erarbeitet.<\/p>\n

In den Gew\u00e4ssern werden Spurenstoffe z.B. Arzneimittel und deren R\u00fcckst\u00e4nde, Kosmetika und andere Chemikalien nachgewiesen, welche negative Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt und die menschliche Gesundheit haben. Um den Eintrag in die Umwelt zu reduzieren, ist eine Anpassung der Abwasserbehandlung erforderlich. F\u00fcr diese Anpassung sollen kosteng\u00fcnstige und energieeffiziente L\u00f6sungen unterst\u00fctzen und vorangetrieben werden.<\/p>\n

Die wassersensible Stadtentwicklung, oder auch die sogenannte Schwammstadt, ist ein innovatives wasserwirtschaftliches Konzept f\u00fcr eine nachhaltige Entwicklung der St\u00e4dte. Aufgrund von Klimaver\u00e4nderungen werden lokale Starkniederschlagsereignisse und D\u00fcrreperioden h\u00e4ufiger. Deshalb ist es insbesondere in innerst\u00e4dtischen Ballungsr\u00e4umen notwendig, Niederschl\u00e4ge zu versickern oder zu speichern, um zum Beispiel die mikroklimatischen Bedingungen im Stadtgebiet zu verbessern. Durch bspw. die Erstellung einer Matrix f\u00fcr die Grundlagenerfassung von Modellprojekten, sollen verallgemeinerungsf\u00e4hige L\u00f6sungsans\u00e4tze erstellt werden.<\/p>\n
